Lidia Aebersold is an ACSM certified personal fitness trainer from Switzerland. Since 2012 she has lived in Los Angeles and worked as freelance personal fitness trainer, working with clients at home and in parks.
She is very skilled at getting to know her clients personally, and works to come to a thorough understanding of their goals, capabilities, and limitations.
Through continued education with the Cooper Institute, she also offers dietary guidance to her clients to help them understand their eating habits and she can advise on what dietary
adjustments could be beneficial to them.
Her specialization is body weight, resistance and free weight training, meaning her exercise programs involve few machines and instead focus on clients using their own bodies for resistance.
What she offers her clients as a personal fitness trainer are individualized programs for their specific situation and goals. Broadly speaking most of her clients in Los Angeles have come to her looking for help on improving their body composition i.e. fat to lean mass, muscular strength and endurance, muscle tone, stress management and enhanced body awareness.
She personally has a rigorous exercise regime for herself, hitting the gym 4-5x a week and a healthy balanced diet.
She started her personal fitness trainer career in Vancouver, BC when she moved there in 2008 from Switzerland. Her personal trainer education started at InfoFit, North America’s Premier School for Fitness Professionals run by André Noel Potvin. In 2010 she relocated to London in the UK and completed her American College of Sports Medicine certification and has been a certified ACSM personal fitness trainer ever since.
Lidia is a passionate Personal Trainer and loves what she does.
Her exercise programs have a strong focus on bodyweight training, meaning you can learn and apply these after your sessions with her in pretty much any setting, at home, in a gym or when traveling for business in a hotel gym.
